When we think about eating healthy, we often focus on what’s on our plates—but have you thought about the cookware you’re using? Traditional non-stick pans may make life easy, but they often contain chemicals like PFOA and PTFE, which can release toxic fumes at high temperatures. Yikes!

That’s why more home cooks are making the switch to healthy ceramic and stainless steel pans. Not only are they free of harmful chemicals, but they’re also durable, versatile, and a joy to cook with.

Why Choose Ceramic Pans?

Ceramic cookware is a non-toxic superhero in the kitchen. It’s made without harmful chemicals, has a naturally smooth, non-stick surface, and is perfect for quick, easy cleanup. Plus, it’s eco-friendly, cook at medium or lower heat—great for stir-fries or searing. I use it for 90% of my cooking and only the stainless steel when using high heat.

Why Stainless Steel Rocks

Stainless steel pans are the ultimate kitchen staple. They’re chemical-free, virtually indestructible, and give you that perfect golden-brown sear. Whether you're frying, sautéing, or making sauces, stainless steel pans provide even cooking without altering the taste of your food.

Which Pan Should You Pick?

Both ceramic and stainless steel are fantastic options, but having a mix of both is even better! Use ceramic for low to medium heat cooking, and stainless steel for high-heat and more intense techniques. Either way, you’re investing in safer, healthier cooking for you and your family.

So, ready to cook with confidence? Swap out those old non-stick pans and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with using healthy cookware. Happy cooking!

It's a fascinating subject I watched an episode, last week tonight with John Oliver on PFAS/C8 telling a horrific story about what we have ingested over the years from these products, the subject of chemical-free cookware is a discussion we should be having EWG.ORG/PFASMAP 😎
